At its facilities, JBL has fitted every roof with photovoltaic panels to generate most of its electricity and favours low-emission mild hybrid vehicles over fully electric ones for company cars. In production, JBL fish food is made using leftover fish fillet pieces—originally intended for human consumption—rather than farming or harvesting whole fish. JBL was also the first in the industry to introduce resource-saving refill packaging, with the PRONOVO range making further strides toward full recyclability.

JBL’s commitment to nature extends beyond its operations. The company supports global conservation efforts, from protecting coral reefs and sharks in the Caribbean to funding local initiatives like ghost net collections in the North Sea.
